Cherry Hardwood Dowels
Cherry Hardwood Dowels or Cherry Dowel rods are made of excellent quality select and better cherry hardwood. Our cherry hardwood is kiln dried to the perfect moisture content. We then mill the dowels right here in the United States to to specifications and then run each dowel through a dowel sander for a smooth surface.
Cherry Dowels are mostly a medium red color that will age with time to a beautiful deeper red finish. Upon occasion a cherry dowel may have a little white in it which is natural for cherry.
Cherry Hardwood Dowel Rods are 36" in length and range from 1/4" in diameter to 1"
Dowels must be shipped Priority Mail or UPS because they are 36" long.

Most importantly, they are accurately sized. They are also finish sanded. A small downside in the ones that I received was that one was broken. It didn't affect my project but, although in an appropriate box, the interior packaging was sparse. The fact that one was broken could have been a problem on a different project.
