Flexcut Deluxe Palm & Knife Set

The Flexcut Deluxe Palm & Knife Set includes four carving knives and five palm tools.  This set of carving tools includes some of the most widely used and popular Flexcut carving knves and carving gouges.

The Flexcut Deluxe Palm & Knife Set includes:

• Wooden box for storage of the carving tool set.
• KN12 cutting knife which is a general purpose carving knife with a 1 1/4" blade length that is slightly rounded on the end.  A great beginner carving knife.
• KN13 detail carving knife.  The KN13 has a fine pointed end on its 1 1/2" blade that is great for narrow cuts and detailing.  Meanwhile, the length of the blade can really cut wood.
• KN18 pelican carving knife. The 1 5/8" pelican blade has a curve that is made to slice wood cleanly like a skew.  The pelican carving knife is great for hollowing areas.
• KN27 mini detail carving knife.  The Mini detail knife will easily get in and cut precisely in delicate areas with its 3/4" long blade.
• FR305 #3 x 3/8" Palm style gouge. At 3/8" or 9mm wide with a #3 sweep, you'll find this gouge pretty handy.
• FR306 #6 x 5/16" palm style gouge.  This gouge is 5/16" wide or about 8mm with a #6 sweep.  Easily remove material in tighter places with this gouge.
• FR307 1/4" x 70° Palm style V gouge.  Get into tight corners and define your work easily with this 70° V gouge that is 1/4" wide.
• FR309 #11 x 1/8" Palm style gouge.  Define every detail with this intricate gouge.
• FR308 #2 x 5/16" Palm Style Skew Gouge. Slice and cut with precision using this skew gouge that is 5/16" wide and a #2 sweep.

Each carving tool in the Flexcut Deluxe Palm & Knife Set comes with an ash handle and a high carbon steel blade that is finely polished to a razor edge.  They hold an edge extremely well and are easy to maintain with a simple stropping.
