Description
Black Duck Flying Carving Pattern
Carve a black duck in flight with these carving patterns. Choose from carving a full size black duck or a 1/3 size black duck in the flying position. The black and white carving patterns shows you the side view of the black duck in the flying position with wings up, a top view of the duck body, front view of the body of the duck and a top view of the wings. Illustrated details are also shown for the feet in the flying and getting ready to land position.
The black duck flying carving pattern is a great way to get started in carving a black duck in flight. We suggest carving the body separate from the wings and then attaching them with a dado you create on each side of the body to fit the wings into. Leaving a little extra thickness on the attachment point of the wing will give you a greater away to sculpt the wing appropriately.
