Eze-Lap Diamond Hone & Stone Medium The Eze-Lap started the company in 1971 and has built their companies reputation proving to be one of the most popular sharpening products in the USA. The sharpening surface is embedded with diamond particles, with a  3/4" x 2" sharpening surface on 6" purple plastic handle.  The Eze-Lap Diamond Stone is one of the hardest materials used for sharpening tools and will put a razor sharp edge on just about anything, including carbide. Their best quality is how quickly they sharpen those precious tools. The typical grit range for diamond stones is 220-1200. Eze-Lap Diamond Hone and Stone is Medium 400 grit.  There are 4 different grits with color coated handles for you to choose which sharpening diamond hone and stone you prefer. The black (250 grit) is coarse, purple (400 grit) is medium, red (600 grit)is fine, and blue ( 1200 grit) is super fine.  When working with the Eze-Lap Diamond Hone and Stone you wont have to contend with the irritating sound and volume produced by motorized sharpening systems.
