Sharpening Maintenance
This Flexcut Palm Carving Tool is pre-sharpened at the factory to a highly polished razor's edge. This creates an efficient, long-lasting cutting tool. The more polished the edge, the sharper it is and the longer it will stay sharp.
Keeping your tools sharp requires some routine maintenance. We recommend a strop and sharpening compound. Polishing compounds are used on strops have a micro fine abrasive, they cut metal. A fine grain leather strop with a good compound and technique is all that is needed to keep your tools sharp for an long time. We do carry a large variety of compounds.
