Description

The Flexcut Stub Sloyd Knife has a shorter blade than the original Sloyd Knife. The blade length is 2-1/2”, you’ll have more control for your smaller sized projects. The original Sloyd, is a carving knife that is am outstanding tool, great for spoon carving, whittling, marking and general woodworking.

Its versatility allows a wide range of projects from detail work to roughing. You can use it to shave bark or use its fine tip for eyes, noses, mouths, hair, facial details, and accent parts.

There is no flex in the blade – which makes it powerful and extremely reliable. The rigidness allows for deep cuts and markings. The blade is thick along its spine and the core is made of high-carbon steel. This results in a very hard edge for superior edge retention. For added strength, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle. The handle is made of conditioned cherry hardwood and feature a brass ferrule.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Flexcut warrants products manufactured by Flexcut Tool Company, Inc. to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the life of the owner. If you feel any Flexcut tool has failed due to a manufacturing defect, mail the tool along with a written explanation of the problem to the address below. We will replace the tool/knife with a new Flexcut carving tool/knife at our expense and pay the return shipping/postage.
