You will receive a carving pattern of a Green Head Mallard Female Standing/Feeding with the head pointed down in the feeding position.  Select from a full size, or 1/2 size pattern. The pattern has top, front  and side views with an exploded view of the body, and head with bill.  The full and 1/2 size are black & white . You'll need reference material for painting, wood or cork to carve the duck from, and you can carve or purchase the  eyes.  We suggest making the cutout for the Green Head Mallard Female Standing/Feeding carving pattern in one piece.

If you are carving the full size 17" long female Mallard you can use:

• 8-9 mm brown eyes.
• 14" x 5 1/2" x 5" piece of Tupelo or Basswood for the body.
• 5" x 3"x 2" piece of Tupelo or basswood for the head.

 If you are carving the 1/2 size 8" long Mallard you can use.

• 4 mm  brown Eyes.
• 8 1/2" x 2 3/4"" x 3" Basswood or Tupelo the the body.
• 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1 piece of Basswood or Tupelo for the head.
• Feet.
