The Harlequin duck is quite beautiful with extraordinary colorful  markings. Use the Harlequin Standing Carving Pattern to create a one of a kind carving.

The Harlequin duck is a small sea duck that weighs anywhere from 1- 2 pounds, with a wingspan of 21-26 inches, and is about 13-21 inches long. The male has slate blue markings on it's belly and white bands that border black lines, large white crescent in front of his eyes, a vertical stripe on the side of his neck, black streaks with white and amber lines on it's head. The Females have a brown body, white belly with brown spots, round white spots behind the ears, and various patches in front of the eyes.

You will receive a carving pattern of a Harlequin Standing Carving Pattern with it's head in a forward position.  Select from Male or Female, and full size  or 1/2 size Stiller pattern. The pattern has top, front  and side views with an exploded view of body, head and bill. You'll need reference material for painting, wood or cork to carve the duck from, and you can carve or purchase the  eyes.  We suggest making the cutout for the Harlequin Standing Carving Pattern in two pieces.
