We recommend using Pine but it can be made in Oak, Cherry Or Maple. Use the Noah's Ark Toy Chest Hardware Kit to help you finish the project.

Pair of Hinges With Wood Screws.
Mushroom Plugs.
Drywall Screw.
Tie Peg's Walnut.
Dowel.
You'll also need some paint to finish your Chest. The Noah's Ark Toy Chest Plan is sold seperatly.
