Special Delivery Whirligig Hardware Kit
Bring some humor to your outdoor space with a dog chasing a mailman whirligig. The Special Delivery Whirligig Hardware Kit will simplify making the Special Delivery Whirligig. Start with a copy of the plan that is sold separately, and select the wood of your choice.
We recommend an outdoor friendly wood or marine grade plywood. Use the Special Delivery Whirligig Hardware Kit to help you finish the project. You'll also need plywood for the whirligig blades. Our plans are designed to use 5/32" marine grade plywood.
This is our #7002 Birch plywood. We sell it as 1/8" but it is closer to 5/32". Most other 1/8" plywoods will be slightly under 1/8" thickness.
The Special Delivery Whirligig Hardware Kit includes:
- 5/8" Stainless Steel Nails.
- Brass Wood Screws.
- Brass Post and Screw.
- Pivot Bearings.
- Brass Washers.
- Tooth Lock Washers.
- Brass Hexagon Nuts.
- Hex Self Locking Cap Nuts.
- Screw Eyes.
- Pivot Tube Brass.
- Drive Shaft Tube.
- Pivot Nail.
- Piston Wire.
- 4 Blade Round Propeller.
- Drive Shaft Wire.
- 1/4"x12" Hardwood Dowel.
You'll also need some paint to finish your whirligigs. A Special Delivery DIY Whirligig Kit is also available if you prefer not to cut things out yourself.
