Staggerwing Pedal Plane Plan

The Staggerwing Pedal Plane Plan has proven to be one of the most popular models. This model is a replica of the Beech Staggerwing .The classic design has universal eye appeal with the yellow and black paint.  The main body of the aircraft, wings and engine cowl are built from 3/8” plywood. The rotating propeller is driven by the adjustable pedal crank assembly.  Steering is done from a joystick that is linked to a tail wheel assembly. 

This project gives your 3 to 7 year old child a great start in aviation.

A Plans set with step by step instructions is available. They include full size patterns for all wood , sheetmetal parts, and dimension drawings for the steel fabricated parts.
