Stryi Sculpture #9 Gouge 40mm

The Stryi Sculpture #9 Gouge 40mm wood carving tool is used on large sculpture carvings and chainsaw carvings.  This large gouge allows the carver to pair away waste from the form to create broad details.

Normally with this type of wood carving, a mallet can be used as an accessory tool as you drive the tool through the wood depending on how hard or soft you strike the tool handle.
