This elaborately detailed shelf is a perfect example of fretwork of French inspiration. We suggest using 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch thick solid wood or good quality plywood. 16 inches wide x 20 inches high x 7 1/2 inches deep.
Out of Plywood: - 2 sheets OF 1/4 inch wood.
Out of Hardwood: Support Brackets: You can make them from 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch or thicker material. We recommend 3/8 inch.
- Requires 2 boards 8 inch wide.
Ornamental Designs: We recommend 1/4 inch thick wood.
- Requires: -1 Board 8 inch wide.
- 1 Board 6 inch wide.
- 1 Board 4 inch wide.
You will also need wood for actual shelves: We recommend 1/4 inch thick wood.
