Wood is a natural product. This walnut lumber may vary in color and also have a blemish or two. This is natural for any piece of wood. Lumber should be stored horizontally under cover on a firm surface (not the floor) to prevent warping. Allow several days after the arrival of your lumber for the wood to adjust to the humidity and temperature where you will use it and store it. Make sure that a heavy weight is placed on the top of the lumber. This will prevent warpage as the lumber changes and climatizes to your environment. Lumber is not warranted against color or minor defects. We can not exchange lumber because of the color. If your lumber is not satisfactory please contact us for tips on your specific issue.
