The Chukar Partridge Carving Pattern is a great way to start a weekend project! The Stiller pattern shows the Chukar Partridge in a standing position, with it's head forward. The Chukar Partridges are a chicken like bird that is 13-15 inches long, weighs about 1 -1 1/2 pounds, with a 20 inch wingspan. The are a plump game bird with a small round head and,a black band that warps around the eye's cheek, and throat.

When your finished carving your Chukar you can use your wood burner to create those fine details.

Chukar Partridge Carving Pattern:

• Materials suggested to carve the full size Chukar Partridge:

• Body; 4" x 6" x 12" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Head; 2" x 3" x 4" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Eye's; 7 mm Reddish Brown.
• Feet; We do carry replica Delise cast feet for this Stiller Pattern.

• Materials suggested to carve the 1/2 size Chukar partridge;

• Body; 2" x 3" x 6" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Head; 1" x 1 1/2" x 2" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Eye's; 3 mm Reddish Brown.
• Feet.
