Join the art of wood carving with the Green Head Mallard Full Wall Mount Pattern. A Mallard duck measures about 18-27 inches in length and has a wingspan of approximately three feet. They are outstanding endurance fliers, flying at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour under their own strength.

You will receive a carving pattern of a Mallard full wall mount with it's wings spread  Select from a full size, 1/4 size pattern. The pattern has Top, front  and side views with an exploded view of the wings and body. You'll need reference material for painting, wood or cork to carve the duck from, eyes,  and you may make your own feet or purchase them.  We suggest making the cutout for the Green Head Mallard carving pattern in two pieces, the body with head  and the wings.

Recommendations for the Green Head Mallard Flying/Taking Off Carving Patterns:

 If you are carving the full size 10" long Mallard you can use.

• 4 mm Dark Brown Eyes.
• 10 1/2" x 3" x 5" Basswood or Tupelo the the body with the head.
• 7 1/2" x 3" x 1" Basswood or Tupelo for the wings.
• Feet.

If your carving the 1/4 Size 5" long Male Green Head Mallard you can use:

• 3 mm Medium Brown.
• 8" x 5" x 1" Basswood or Tupelo for the head and body.
• 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 2" Basswood or Tupelo for the wings.
