• Out of hardwood -We recommend using 3/8 inch thick material with   4   6-inch wide boards  (You will need to glue up two 6-inch boards for both the top and the bottom pieces
• 2   4-inch wide boards for the sides and miscellaneous pieces.  
• Hardware Suggestions - 1 " long x 3/4" wide hinge
• You can also use a 4 3/4" long x 3/4" wide Piano Hinge.
