Carve a stunning Lesser Scaup with the Lesser Scaup Resting On Water Carving Pattern.  You'll find that the Greater Scaup and Lesser Scaup have similar markings and coloration, except the head. The Lesser Scaup male has iridescent purple highlights on it's head. The Lesser Scaup is about 16-18 inches long and has a straighter neck and more oval head with the peak further back, and a resting Lesser Scaup will show a notch or corner toward the back of the head. The female Lesser Scaup is a brownish grey with speckles on the side feathers, and a white marking around the area where the head and bill meet. You can choose full  or half sizes for the male, and full size only for the  female.
