A wood biscuit is a football shaped piece of wood that you glue into slots of your woodworking piece in order to join them together. For example, if you are wanting to make a picture frame you would put slots into the end pieces of each of your boards, glue the biscuit into the slot and join them together. This is a #0 Standard Wood Biscuit which measures 5/8" wide x 1 7/8" long. This biscuit fits into a slot size of approximately 1 3/16". There are other size biscuits available.
