The Flexcut Detail Skew Knife features a 7/16 " long blade that is angled.  This unique carving knife is designed for the lowest resistance cut possible. The skewed end offers a guillotine-like slicing action allowing smooth, against the grain cuts in awkward positions,which is great for making detailed cuts that are very narrow.  We all want more from a knife and this skew knife also delivers on the stock removal side of things.  Remove carving wood fast with the dependable angled blade and it is great for carving feathers, cleaning up cut stops and making those tight vertical cuts.

The Flexcut Detail Skew Knife is a must have beginner carving knife and works great for the advanced carver as well.  This American made Flexcut skew knife will be one that you fall back on and use for years.  All Flexcut knives come with a pre-sharpened edge and are highly polished.  To keep this knife in razor sharp condition, strop on a regular basis.  We recommend Flexcut Gold polishing compound and a strop.  Hold the knife at a 15° bevel which is the same as the knife has been sharpened at for stropping and sharpening.
