This oil is a is a liquid, solution that helps moisten the stone while sharpening carving knives. The oil will preserve the blade. It creates a barrier between your knife and harmful elements. It is designed with premium protection in mind for your knife blades. Honing Oil is ideal on any blade type but is recommended for blades with a high carbon steel.
