Killdeer Standing/Flying/Landing Carving Pattern

Carve a shorebird with the Killdeer Standing/Flying/Landing Carving Pattern. The pattern features detailed views of the Killdeer in two different  positions.  Use the side view and top view to cut out your Killdeer, then start carving with the details that are included in this pattern.   The Killdeer Standing/Flying/Landing Carving Pattern includes a side view, top view, front, and detail of the wings.  Each view shows the feathering and details that you will need to finish your Killdeer.

 

Killdeer Standing/Flying/Landing Carving Pattern:

  • Materials suggested to carve the full size Killdeer Flying/Landing;

    • One - 3" x 5" x 9" block of wood for the head and body.
    • Two - 2" x 5" x 10" blocks of wood for the wings.
    • 7 mm Dark Brown Eye's.
    • We do carry replica Delise cast feet if you don't want to carve them.
    • We also have a Basswood Cutout if you don't feel like making your own.
  • Materials suggested to carve the full size Standing Killdeer;

    • One - 3" x 3" x 10" block of wood.
    • 7 mm Dark Brown.
    • We do carry replica Delise cast feet for this Stiller pattern if you don't want to carve them.
  • Materials suggested to carve the 1/2 size 5" long Flying/Landing Killdeer;

    • One - 3" x 3" x 5" block of wood fro the head and body.
    • Two - 1" x 3" x 5" blocks of wood for the wings.
    • 3-4 mm Dark Brown Eye's.
    • Feet.
  • Materials suggested to carve the 1/2 size 5" long Standing Killdeer;

    • One - 3" x 3" x 5" block of wood.
    • 3-4 mm Dark Brown Eye's.
    • Feet.
  • Materials suggested to carve the 3/4 size 7 1/2" long Standing Killdeer Color Pattern;

    • 3" x 4" x 8" block of wood.
    • 5 mm Dark Brown Eye's.
    • We do carry replica Delise cast feet for this Stiller pattern.
