Use the Kutzall Coarse 1/4" Taper Burr for fast stock removal and when you want an outstanding finish from a small burr.  The Kutzall Coarse 1/4" Taper Bur has razor sharp tungsten carbide teeth that will hog a lot of material while keeping a precise path.  To clean the Kutzall carbide taper burr, use solvents in a sonic cleaner are best or burn them clean with a gas torch.  The heat will not harm the teeth.

The Kutzall  1/4" Taper burr is great for producing flat surfaces or rounding over the edges of a piece.  You can make concave surfaces and hollow them out uses the ball end of the burr.  You can even produce grooves that have a radius bottom, like in fluting with this carbide bur.
