We no longer carry these parts
Cherry Tree Toys used to supply wooden wheels, pegs, plugs, spindles, figures and other turned parts. We no longer sell them. Many of our plans were drawn around those parts, and they still call for them by our old stock numbers.
To help, we put the part numbers, sizes and photos from our old catalog into free reference sheets. Look up the number from your plan, read off the size, and use it to find a similar part from another source or to make your own.
How to use these sheets
- Find the part number (stock number) listed in your plan.
- Open the sheet below that matches the kind of part. Each sheet is organized by type, and the wheel sheets end with a lookup table sorted by part number.
- Use the size listed (diameter, thickness, length, hole or tenon size) to find a matching part or to cut your own.

Good to know
- Sizes are nominal
- The sizes come from our old catalog. Real parts vary a little, so measure before you buy if an exact fit matters, especially for axle holes and tenons.
- Photos are for identification
- Photos and drawings show the general shape of each part. They are not exact patterns, and the photos are not to scale.
- Wood types
- Some parts came in maple, birch, oak, cherry or walnut. The sheets show which woods each part came in. Oak, cherry and walnut versions added -O, -C or -W to the part number.
- PDF files
- The sheets are PDF files. Any PDF reader will open them. On most phones and computers they open right in your browser.
