Use our ceramic texturing sticks for the details in your carvings.  The ceramic texturing rods easily outlast conventional stones.  The ceramic texturing sticks can be re dressed once the edge has been worn down and you can even cut them in half when you start to create four cutting edges instead of two.  You will notice the cutting ability of these texturing sticks.  They cut faster, cleaner and longer than any other texturing tool.  

Pick the grit by your project.  The 120 grit ceramic texturing sticks are great for working around the eyes and bills, they feature a delicate and controlled removal of wood.  Use the higher grits for softer woods and more intricate areas.  The 1200 grit works great in tupelo and for very fine texturing.

Use a diamond hone to sharpen and contour the end of the sticks as you would like them.  You can also clean the sticks using a small mounted brush.
