The Flexcut back bent gouge features a flexible high carbon spring steel shank that conforms to the contours of your projects surface to give you maximum control over every cut. The wide variety of shapes it can attain makes this such a diverse tool. When the contour of the surface changes, the angle of the handle remains almost the same, while the blade changes angels.

The Flexcut Back Bent Gouge is an upside down spoon gouge with a convex rather than concave cutting edge. Flexcut Back Bent Gouge is used for undercutting and shaping where space above the cut is limited.
