Greater Scaup Standing Carving Pattern

Carve a stunning Greater Scaup with the Greater Scaup Standing Carving Pattern.  You'll find that the greater Scaup and Lesser Scaup have similar markings and coloration, except the head. The Greater Scaup male has iridescent green highlights on it's head. The female Greater Scaup is a brownish grey with speckles on the side feathers, and a white marking around the area where the head and bill meet. You can choose full  or half sizes for the male or female.

• Body; 5 1/2" x 6" x 12" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Head; 2" x 4" 5 1/2" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• 7 mm Yellow Eyes.
• Feet.
