You will receive a carving pattern of a Green Head Mallard Male Flying/Landing with it's wings spread position.  Select from a full size 18" long, or 1/2 size  9" long size pattern. The pattern has top, front  and side views with an exploded view of the feathers, body, head and bill. You'll need reference material for painting, wood or cork to carve the duck from, and you can carve or purchase the  eyes.  We suggest making the cutout for the Green Head Mallard carving pattern in three pieces .

Recommendations for the Green Head Mallard Male Flying/Landing  Carving Patterns:

 If you are carving the full size size 18" long Mallard you can use.

• 8-9 mm Dark Brown Eyes.
• 13 1/2" x 5 " x 4 1/2" Basswood or Tupelo the the body.
• 6" x 2" x 4" for the head.
• 16 1/2" x 7 " x 2" for the wings.

If your carving the 1/2 Size 9" long Male Green Head Mallard you can use:

• 4-5 mm Dark Brown.
• 61/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" Basswood or Tupelo for the body.
• 3" x 1" x 2" for the head.
• 8 " x 3 1/2" x 1 "  for the wings.
