You will receive a carving pattern of a Mallard resting on water feeding with it's head in a downward position.  Select from a full size, or 1/2 size pattern. The pattern has top, front  and side views with an exploded view of the wings, body and bill. You'll need reference material for painting, wood or cork to carve the duck from, and you can carve or purchase the  eyes.  We suggest making the cutout for the Green Head Mallard carving pattern in two pieces, the body and the head .

Recommendations for the Green Head Mallard Male Resting On Water/Feeding Carving Patterns:

 If you are carving the full size 15" long Mallard you can use.

• 8-9 mm Dark Brown Eyes.
• 10 1/2" x 3" x 5" Basswood or Tupelo the the body with the head.
• 7 1/2" x 3" x 1" Basswood or Tupelo for the wings.

If your carving the 1/2 Size 7" long Male Green Head Mallard you can use:

• 4 mm Medium Brown.
• 8" x 5" x 1" Basswood or Tupelo for the head and body.
• 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 2" basswood or Tupelo for the wings.
