- 3" x 3" x 10" block of Basswood or Tupelo.
- 9-10 mm Dark Brown Eye's.

Materials suggested to carve the full size Flying Nighthawk;
- 3" x 3" x 9 1/2" block of Basswood or Tupelo for the head & body,
- 2" x 5" x 9" blocs of Basswood or Tupelo for the wings.
- 9-10 mm Dark Brown Eye's.
