• The second  pattern is 6" high x 11 1/2" long with a 12 1/2" long x 3" wide base, and uses a 2 3/4" clock insert.
• Pattern three design measures 9 3/4" long x 5" high and uses a 2" clock insert.
• The fourth pattern design is 7 1/2" long x 4" high and uses a 1 7/16" clock insert.

  Wood Suggestion:

1.  1/2 inch to 5/8 inch wood for clock design
2. The base should be made with wood as thick or thicker  than design and can vary in dimension.
3. It also suggests to bore the hole for the clock inserts with a fostner bit.
