I made this for my daughter, a violinist, and also as a senior gift for the high school orchestra director. When he saw the violin, he was astounded and thanked me again and again. I used mahogany for the body with maple overlays and walnut tuners. It is truly gorgeous and a piece that will be cherished for many years. My thanks to the designer.
