Materials needed to carve the 3/4 size 9 1/2 " long Male Wood Duck:

• 6 mm Red eyes.
• 4 1/2" x 3" x 10" piece of Tupelo or Basswood for the body.
• 1 1/2" x 2 3/4 " x 4 1/2 " piece of Tupelo or Basswood for the head. 

Materials needed to carve the 1/2 size  61/2" long Male Wood Duck: 

• 5 mm Red eyes.
• 3" x 2" x 7" piece of Basswood or Tupelo for the body.
• 1" x 2" x 3 1/2" piece of Basswood or Tupelo for the head.
