Aves Apoxie Sculpt

Imagine the power of sculpting clay and the adhesion of epoxy that is easy to use and you have Apoxie Sculpt!  Apoxie Sculpt has a smooth, putty-like consistency and adheres to nearly anything.  Use Apoxiew Sculpt for sculpting, bonding, filling, fixing and embellishing.  Apoxie Sculpt accepts paints, stains, mica powders and a variety of other finishing options.  You can sand it, tap it, drill it, carve it and even work on a lathe after it cures without any worry of chipping cracking or flaking.

Using Apoxie Scultp:

  1. Using equal parts, mix the two parts together and knead until the Apoxie Sculpt is throughly combined.  The color should look uniform.  And we recommend you wear disposable gloves to keep yourself neat.
  2. Let the mixed Apoxie Sculpt rest for about 5 minutes.
  3. Your Apoxie Sculpt is ready to use.  The working time is 1-3 hours.  Shape as desired.  You may smooth or texture it with a sculpting tool, Qtip, brush or your finger.  Slightly wet your tools with either water of the Aves Safety Solvent for easy use.
  4. Clean up your area with soap and water or Aves Safety Solvent.  
  5. Let it dry.  Aves Apoxie Sculpt cures completely in 24 hours.
  6. Finish as desired.  The Aves Apoxie Sculpt can be painted wet or dry.

Tips for Using Apoxie Sculpt

  • If the Apoxie Sculpt is sticking to your hands, try rubbing a little extra virgin olive oil on your finger tips.  This should keep the Apoxie Sculpt from sticking to them.
  • Dip your tools and finger si cold water to keep the Apoxie Sculpt from sticking to your tool surfaces and allow for prefect details.
  • Kick up your style by adding some Mica Powder or gold leaf to the Apoxie Sculpt.
