You will receive a  Bufflehead Male Flying/Landing Carving Pattern with it's wings spread.  Select from a full size 16" long, or 1/3 size  4" long size pattern. The pattern has top, front  and side views with an exploded view of the feathers, body, head and bill. You'll need reference material for painting, wood or cork to carve the duck from, and you can carve or purchase the  eyes.  We suggest making the cutout for the Bufflehead Duck carving pattern in three pieces, head , body and wings.

 Materials needed to carve the 16" long Bufflehead Male Flying/Landing Carving Pattern:

• Body; 4" x 5" x 16" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Head; 2" x 2" x 5" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Wings; 2" x 5" x 11" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.
• Eyes; 8 mm Dark Brown.
• Feet.

• Head: 1/2" x 1" x 2 1/2" piece of Basswood or Tupelo.

• Eyes; 3 mm Dark Brown.
• Feet.
