The Colwood Replaceable Small Point 45° Woodburning Tip is the smallest of the straight point tips used for creating a thin straight line with a 45° bend. These Colwood Replaceable pyrography tools can also be used to outline or use the skew tip to burn a basket weave pattern inside a border.
Most Tips when held at a 45° angle to the wood and rotated between the thumb and fingers allow you to use the tip as a calligraphy tip, creating thick lines or graceful curved lines. With the 45° tip it is already bent making it easier to create those special effects without holding your hand in an awkward position.
The fine narrow tip reaches a higher heat than the wide tips. When the fine tip burns it's a darker impression, and the wide tips will burn a lighter impression.
It is very important that you specify which tip you need: The left tip is for right-handed wood burning and the right tip is for left-handed wood burning.
