Green Headed Mallard Female Standing

You will receive a carving pattern of a Green Headed Mallard Female Standing in the standing position.  Select from a full size, or 1/2 size or 3/8 size pattern. The pattern has top, front  and side views with an exploded view of the body, head and bill.  The 3/8 size is in color , and the full and 1/2 size are black & white. You'll need reference material for painting, wood or cork to carve the duck from, and you can carve or purchase the  eyes.  We suggest making the cutout for the Green Head Mallard carving pattern in two pieces, the body , and head.

Recommendations for the Green Headed Mallard Female Standing Carving Patterns:

If you are carving the full size 14" long female Mallard you can use:

• 8-9 mm brown eyes.
• 14" x 5 1/2" x 5" piece of Tupelo or Basswood for the body.
• 5" x 3"x 2" piece of Tupelo or basswood for the head.
• Feet

 If you are carving the 1/2 size 6 1/2" long Mallard you can use.

• 6 mm Dark Brown Eyes.
• 7" x 3" x 2 1/2" Basswood or Tupelo the the body.
• 2" x 1 1/2" x 1 piece of Basswood or Tupelo for the head.
• Feet.

If your carving the 3/8 Size 5" long Male Green Head Mallard you can use:

• 3-4 mm Brown eyes.
• 5" x 2" x 2" Basswood or Tupelo for the body.
• 2" x 1 1/4" x 1/2" piece of Basswood or Tupelo for the head.
• Feet.
• You can use this color Stiller pattern for painting references.
