Use the Kutzall Extreme 1/4" Taper Burr for fast stock removal and when you want an outstanding finish from a small burr.  The Kutzall Extreme 1/4" Taper Bur has razor-sharp tungsten carbide teeth that will hog a lot of material while keeping a precise path.  To clean the Kutzall carbide taper burr, use solvents in a sonic cleaner are best or burn them clean with a gas torch.  The heat will not harm the teeth.

The Kutzall Extreme 1/4" Taper burr is great for producing flat surfaces or rounding over the edges of a piece in tight and narrow places.  Use the taper bur for making concave surfaces and hollow them out using the end of the burr.  You can even produce grooves that have a radius bottom, like in fluting.
