2 blade slots to accommodate 5/32” marine grade plywood.

This hub is designed to rotate in a counter clockwise fashion.  If the hub unscrews, you have it on the wrong side of your whirligig.  When using 2 blade hubs, most projects call for two hubs, one clockwise and one counter clockwise.
