This Flexcut 5/16" Scorp has comfortable fixed ash wood handle that provides a controlled grip allowing the hand to remain relaxed by keeping the force of the stroke in the heel of your hand preventing  fatigue. Right Handed carvers use the right-handed scorp to pull towards you, Left Handed carvers use the right handed scorps to push away from you. The razor sharp blades are dual tempered high carbon steel offering extreme edge holding properties with a tough flexible shaft. The black oxide finish is part of the steel itself which will not crack peel or rust, if cared for properly.
